Hi, I'm Alice 👋

I run Vale Dog Groomers from my home in Barry, offering relaxed, one-to-one grooming appointments across the Vale of Glamorgan.

I've always had a love for animals. Growing up, I was surrounded by them, starting horse riding at five and competing by seven, with a rescue Patterdale mix terrier, a St. Bernard, and a few barn kittens around Cosmeston Farm. In 2022 I completed an online dog grooming course, then joined the City & Guilds Apprenticeship with Heads N Tails in Penarth in 2023, learning everything from grooming basics to more advanced techniques over a year and a half. When the team expanded to Paws Galore in July 2024, my skills developed further, and I proudly completed my apprenticeship that October. After two years of hands-on experience with dogs of all breeds and temperaments, I decided to start my own business here in Barry, where I can offer every dog a calm, one-to-one grooming experience with the time, care, and patience they deserve.
